known as "Fire Taping" this level assures all joints, angles and
corners are taped, mudded and free of any excess mud.This does not have
to be completely concealed. 2.
Used when water resistant drywall is used that will be covered with
tile, garages, storage ares and crawl spaces. Requires 2 layers of
compound covering tape. Marks are acceptable. 3. Used for drywall surfaces that will have a heavy texture Requires
3 levels of drywall compound, smoothing out joints. All joints, angles
and corners must be covered. Followed with a primer. 4. Used for drywall surfaces that will have a light texture or covering like wall paper Requires 3 levels of drywall compound over all joints, angles, fasteners, braces or other accessories. 5.
Highest quality finish- this is the smoothest finish, used when non
textured paints are used. Requires same as level 4 and requires a thin
